Oconto Falls - Funeral rites for Mrs. Ina Volk Allen, 81, took place at the Soulek Funeral Home, Oconto Falls, Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Leslie Simon and the Gillett Methodist Church officiated and burial took place in the Volk Family Cemetery. Mrs. Allen died saturday evening, March 23rd, at 5:15 at her home, after having been ill for two days. She was a life long resident of Oconto falls, having been born here June 7th 1881, the daughter of William and Lucy Volk, early settlers of the area. She was married to Lovel Allen in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1952. She was a member of the Methodist Church and it's Women Society. Survivors include two brothers Harry of Oconto Falls, and William of Gillett, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Linstrom of San Pedro California, and a number of nephews and nieces.
