Mrs. Ida Lipschutz, a resident of Oconto Falls for many years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Biller of Green Bay on Friday after an illness of several months.

Mrs. Lipschutz was born in Marinette and was married to the late Aaron Lipschutz there fifty-two years ago. She was seventy-eight years of age. Mr. and Mrs. Lipschutz operated a department store at the site of the present Cloverfarm Store and Sager’s Electric Shop for thrity years. She was capable and assisted very materially with the operation of the store. Since the store was sold and Mr. Lipschutz death, she had lived in Marinette, Chicago, and Green Bay, and also visited her son and family in New York frequently.

Survivors include the daughter Edna, two sons, Dr. Henry Lipschutz, a dentist in Manitowoc, and Hyman of Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. Funeral services were conducted in Green Bay and the committal services were held Sunday morning at the Marinette Jewish Cemetery at eleven-thirty.

Mrs. Lipschutz will be remembered by many for her charitable deeds which she carried out in a quiet unobtrusive manner. Her devotion to her responsibilities, and her industriousness are her never to be forgotten characteristics. Oconto Falls friends of the family extend sincere sympathy.
