ON SATURDAY MORNING

Oconto Falls—Funeral services were held at St. Anthony's catholic church on Saturday morning for Irving J. Vincent, 40, who died at Community Memorial Hospital Thursday morning after a long illness. The requiem mass was intoned by the Rev. Joseph Tomczyk at ten o'clock and burial took place in the Catholic Cemetery here. The casket was borne by Robert Lemerande, James Lane, Jack Johnson, Jr., Gene Berken, Leland Spice and Rudy Schmidt, Jr.

"Irv" as he was best known was born in Bemidji, Minnesota on July 26, 1911. He lived most of his younger life in Oconto Falls and DePere. He had operated the Grand Theatre here for the past twenty-three years. His marriage to the former Magdalen Goggins took place August 29th 1936.

He is survived by his wife, one son, Philip; two daughters Ann and Leatrice, all at home, his mother, Mrs. W. R. Vincent of West DePere and three brothers, Edward and Stanley of De Pere and Sanford of Omro.

He was a member of the Holy Name Society and this group led the Rosary at the Soulek Funeral Home where the remains lay in state from Thursday evening until the rites were held Saturday morning.

Relatives and friends from many out of town sites either called or attended the services. Heartfelt sympathy is extended to the bereaved by their many friends.
