Ione
Ione Inez Richardson, 84 of Oconto, passed away June 23, 2016 at the Odd
Fellows Nursing Home in Green Bay. She was born to the late Stanley and
Angeline (Gagnon) Krystofick September 7, 1931 in Green Bay. Ione married
Maurice Elvan; he passed away shortly after. She married Roy Richardson in
Crown Point, IN in 1967. Ione worked as an Executive Secretary at the Bond
Pickle Factory in Oconto. She retired from NEWCAP of Oconto after many years
of working as an Executive Secretary. Ione was a member of Holy Trinity
Catholic Church, Oconto. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, gardening,
bird watching, was an avid Packer Fan and loved spending time with her
family.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Teresa (Bill) Perdzock, Menomonee Falls; Sue
(Jeff) Berth, Oconto; 6 grandchildren, Robyn (Jordon) Geurts, Becky Berth,
Joe, Ben, Sam and Anna Perdzock; a sister, Beatrice Steele, Kalamazoo, MI
and her beloved cat Bud Bud. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy in
1984 and a sister, Ellen McGuire in 1988.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral
Home, 121 Chicago St., Oconto on Saturday, June 25th from 9 A.M. until the
time of the Funeral Service at 11 A.M. at the funeral home with Deacon Walt
Kaszynski officiating. Ione will be placed to rest at the Town of Lena
