Ivan H. CHRISTENSEN

Ivan H. Christensen, 64, Gillett, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening, January 4, 2000. He was born April 26, 1935, in Gillett, to Irene (Kitzmann) Christensen and the late Ivan Christensen. On April 12, 1958, Ivan married Barbara Kashuba, in Milwaukee. Together they owned and operated the former Ivan's Repair Shop, Gillett. Ivan retired in 1993. Barbara preceded him in death, October 2, 1992. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, and life in general.

Ivan is survived by his mother, Irene Peterson, Gillett; two daughters and one son-in-law, Carol and David Evans, Sharon Christensen, all of Green Bay; two grandsons, David and Damien Evans, Green Bay; his fiancee, Judy Wolfe, Gillett; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Gene, Fort Collins, CO; Gerald and Georgia, Gillett; Byron and his fiancee, Sue Dart, Florence, WI; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and Terry Payette, Coleman; Jackie and Paul Bort, Lena; Carolyn and Gordon Kruse, MO. Ivan is further survived by his extended family: Scott (Marcy) Wolfe, Gillett; Kenneth Wolfe, Green Bay; Rodney (Kathleen) Wolfe, Fairbanks, AK; Matthew Wolfe, Detroit, MI; Michelle Wolfe, Appleton; Kirstin and Rebecca Wolfe, Gillett; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Allen, and one sister, Colleen. Friends called at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, Saturday after 2 p.m.

Funeral services were conducted 4 p.m. Saturday January 8, 2000, at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Lange officiating. Interment in Frostville Cemetery, Town of Maple Valley.
