OCONTO- Inez Engebretsen De Roach, 87, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, at home after a brief illness.

She was born May 21, 1912, in Oconto, to the late Anton and Ida (Carlson) Engebretsen. She married Chester De Roach, Oct., 10, 1932; he preceded her in death March 11, 1988. She was a homemaker and enjoyed many hobbies including traveling, painting, sewing and reading.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sharon, Green Bay; two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Don La Rock, Green Bay; Bonnie and William Suelflohn, Plano, Texas; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Birdie Engebretsen, Oconto Falls; ten grandchildren, Pam, Barbara, Kathy, Annette, Loree, Brian, Michael, Todd, Holly and Jeffrey; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara a son, Robert; five brothers, Guy, Ellis, Victor, William, James; and one sister, Doris Nelson. The funeral was held Thurs., Jan. 6 at the West Side Moravian Church with the Rev. Richard Beck officiating.

Burial in Ashwaubenon Moravian Cemetery. Memorials may be made to West Side Moravian Church, Unity Hospice of the charity of your choice. Lyndahl Funeral Horne, Green Bay, assisted the family.
