Mrs. Irene Riemer, 70, 110 S. Main st., Oconto Falls, died Monday at her home following a two-month illness. The former Irene Aprill was born June 20, 1892 in Brown County and married William Riemer in July, 1916, in Oconto Falls. The couple resided in Gillett and Green Bay and later came to Oconto Falls where they operated a bakery and restaurant until 1940. Mr. Riemer was then employed by the Falls Paper and Power Co. He preceded his wife in death in 1947. She was a member of St. Anthony Church, Alter-Rosary Society and was former secretary of the Woman's Benefit Association.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Harry Rusch and Mrs. Marvin Wolfe, both of Oconto Falls; one brother, Walter Aprill, Kent, Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Coopman and Mrs. Frank Hall, both of Green Bay; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Friends may call at Soulek Funeral Home, Oconto Falls, after 7 tonight. The Rosary will be recited at 8 tonight by the Alter Rosary Society; Wednesday at 8 pm by the parish. A solemn requiem high mass will be held at 10 am Thursday at St. Anthony Church, Oconto Falls, with the Revs. Joseph Tomczyk, John Neuser and James Geenan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
