Harriet "Hattie" Zeifert

Harriet "Hattie" Zeifert, 80, of Oconto died unexpectedly at her home on Monday September 25, 2000. "Hattie" was born October 15, 1919 in Oconto to the late Joseph and Mathilda (Jurko) Zeifert. "Hattie" was a lifelong resident of Oconto.

"Hattie" is survived by two sisters-in-law, Arlene Zeifert, Coleman, and Juanita Zeifert, Marinette; four nieces, Kathy Turek, Diane Bruette, Gina Zeifert, Cindy McKillip; three nephews, Chuck Horch, Tom Zeifert, Ricky Zeifert; great-nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Henry, Charles, Raymond, and Victor Zeifert; one sister, Frances Horch; an infant sister, Mary Zeifert, and a special friend, Alfred Sellen.

The family received relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, where a prayer service was held. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday September 29, 2000 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. David C. Ruby officiating and burial at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
