She was born in Montclaire, N.J. to the late Walter E. and Emily (Schaffler) Williams.
Survivors include her husband, John G. McDowell of Moshawquit Lake; two sons, John G. (Lynda) McDowell Jr. of Hales Corners, Paul W. (Dana) McDowell of Fishers, IN; seven grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI on Friday January 14, 2000 from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ron Retherford officiating. Internment in Wisconsin Memorial Park. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home, Suring in charge of arrangements.
