Hilda Glander, 99, Oconto Falls former of New Berlin, died early Friday morning, January 7, 2000 six days short of her 100th birthday, at Sharpe Care Ltd. She was born January 13, 1900 in Wrightstown to John and Reeka (Thiede) Wierschke. In 1928 she married Herman Glander in Milwaukee. The couple lived in New Berlin for many years until Herman's death in 1988. Two years later, Hilda moved to Oconto Falls.

Survivors are a sister-in-law, Florence Wierschke, Greenleaf; many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters.

Friends called at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls after 4 p.m. Monday until the time of services. Funeral services were held 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew Arnold officiating. Burial in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Milwaukee.
