Helen Vandenbush, 70, Green Bay, died Tuesday afternoon, January 18, 2000 at a local hospital following a short illness. Born in Oconto on May 3, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Baenen) Vandenbush. She married Frank House on November 26, 1949 at St. Francis Zavier Cathedral Church. Helen was a member of St. Francis Zavier Cathedral Parish and A.A.R.P. She was a very devoted mother who loved her children deeply. Helen enjoyed the "fun bus," her music boxes (especially her angel ones), caring for her birds and cooking. Survived by two daughters, Linda and Julie House both of Green Bay; former spouse and good friend, Frank House of Green Bay; two brothers and spouses, Ralph and Rosemary Vandenbush of Allouez, Henry Vandenbush of Green Bay; one sister, Cora Van Donsel of Green Bay; one sister-in-law, Laila Vandenbush of Green Bay; two half sisters, Sherry Kampo of Woodruff; Rose Ann and Arnie Coel of Oconto; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; twin daughters, Judith and Margaret House; one son, Bruce House; one brother, Robert Vandenbush; one sister-in-law, Mae Vandenbush; one brother-in-law, Donald Van Donsel. Friends may call at Malcore Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, from 4 to 8 pm Thursday. Friday visitation will continue at the funeral home until the time of the funeral service. Funeral Friday 10 am at the funeral home with Monsignor Roy Klister officiating. Burial in Allouez Cemetery.
