Henry T. Steffens, 74, of New Care Residence, Crivitz and formerly of the Town of Pound died Thursday, February 8, 2001 at Bay Area Medical Center, Marinette. The son of the late Hubert and Alvina (Brumlic) Steffens was born March 5, 1926 at Coleman. He farmed in the Town of Pound with his father until retirement. He has resided at Crivitz for the last several years. Henry was a former member of Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman.

Surviving are one sister, Diane Lembek of Franklin, WI; four nieces, Juli Karr and Mary (Ron) Frye both of Beloit, Melinda (Peter) Berner of Woodbury, MN, and Amy (Brian) Bartolotto of Bluffton, S. Carolina; also great-nieces and nephews.

Friends called at Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman from 9 a.m. Monday until the time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. John Nephner officiating. Interment will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Coleman. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman assisted the family with arrangements.
