Helen Rose Johnson, 85, of Lena, WI passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2001 at Bellin Medical Center, Green Bay. The former Helen Rose Schulz was born on July 6, 1916 in Marinette, the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Heckel) Schulz. She was married to Werner Johnson on September 4, 1943 in Marinette.

Survivors include her husband Werner of Lena; one son, Bud Johnson of Eau Claire, WI; three daughters, Mary (Galen) Accola of North Freedom, WI, Ruth Ann (John) Clark of Green Bay, and Linda Johnson of Green Bay; seven grandchildren; one sister, Clara (Harvey) Foth of Appleton; two stepchildren, Al Clark of Green Bay and Rhonda Clark of Nashville, TN; one great-grandson, Jed Ric Accola and two stepgreat-grandsons, Anthony and Cory Clark of Green Bay.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Erna Parker and Hattie Leitzke; and two brothers, Arthur and Walter Schulz.

Friends called on Friday at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Charles Vaughn and Dan Swonger officiating. Interment in Glenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Marinette.
