Henry Raatz
Clintonville, Wisconsin--Mr. Henry Raatz died May 4, 1973.
He was born on October 7, 1897, in Gillett. He married Ernestin Muth Schindel
on June 6, 1930. They farmed in the Town of Oconto Falls and Henry helped
raise the large family of children that Ernestines first husband, Emil
Schindel, left when he died on January 13, 1926.
He is survived by one son, William Raatz of Athelstane, Wisconsin and
several of Ernestines children. Otto Schindel of Gillett; Mrs. Leo (Lillian)
Schwittay of Marinette; Gustav Schindel of Oconto Falls; Adolph Schindel
of Morgan; Mrs. Chester (Anna) Wirtz of Morgan; Mrs. Anthony (Frieda)La
Brosse of Oconto Falls; and Mrs. Wilfred (Martha) Falash of Spruce. One
of Ernestines daughters, Mrs. Oscar (Olga) Mayer and his wife Ernestine,
preceded him in death.
Services will be held at the Kuehl Funeral Home in Gillett on Monday,
May 7 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Glenn E. Skatrud. Place
of interment will be Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville, Wis.
