GILLETT - Hattie Zahn, age 93, died Wednesday, January 27, 1999, at the Gillett Nursing Home. She was born November 6, 1905, in Gillett, to the late Edward and Paulina (Winkler) Mueller. She married Robert Zahn. He preceded her in death September 18, 1962. Hattie and Robert farmed in the Town of Gillett until 1958. She had been employed at Community Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Gillett, where she was a member of the Ladies Aide and served as church custodian. Hattie was also a member of the Gillett and Cecil Golden Age Club.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Marvin and Dorothy, Gillett; Ronald and Jodi, Hatley; two daughters and one son-in-law: Lillian Miller, Beatrice and Jim Krause, all of Gillett; one brother and sister-in-law: Herbert J. and Vivian Mueller, Oshkosh, 14 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchi1dren.

Hattie was also preceded in death by one son-in-law: Roy A. Miller; one sister, Martha Reinke; and four brothers: August, Frank, Carl, and Fritz Mueller.

Pallbearers were: Randy, Ricky, and Robert Zahn, Dean Miller, Jeff, Chris, and Kerry Zahn.

The funeral was held Fri., Jan. 29 at her church with the Rev. Ronald M. Andresen officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
