OCONTO FALLS – Helen L. Bennett, 88, Green Bay, died Saturday, March 17, 2001 at home. She was born October 15, 1912 in Oconto Falls to William and Emma (Selba) Marks. On June 18, 1936 she married William J. Bennett in Long Island, New York. Mrs. Bennett lived in Milwaukee for many years and was employed by Badger Meter in Brown Deer. She retired to Green Bay in 1980.

Survivors are one brother, Billy Marks, Greenfield, one sister, Irma Kranich, Greenfield; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Elaine Marks, Green Bay, Mrs. Lucille Marks, Little Suamico; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William, In 1969, three brothers, Ewald, Edward “Eltz” Sr. and Harold and one sister, Martha.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls after 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday until the time of services. Funeral 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bill Sutlief officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
