(The compositor made an error in the date of marriage in the following article last week and by request it is republished in full.)

Mrs. Harriett Trudell, wife of Attorney O. F. Trudell, passed away in her home in the south ward about 10:00 Sunday morning, after having been a patient sufferer for nearly four weeks. Her death, at this time, however, came as a distinct shock as her condition was apparently more favorable and a short time before her death she had eaten her breakfast and started to walk to her chair to the bed to make preparations to be taken down stairs when she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, fell upon the bed and in a short time expired.

Deceased was born January 6, 1848 in Watertown, New York, and came to Oconto in 1866. In June 1874 she was married to O. F. Trudell, who with one daughter, Miss Eva, is left to mourn her departure. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. J. Dunton, and one brother, Charles Lacey, of Green Bay.

In the 41 years of her residence here she has by her kindly disposition and unselfish nature won the affection and esteem of a large circle of friends whose heartfelt sympathy goes out to the bereaved relatives in their affliction.

The funeral was held from St. Mark’s church of which the deceased was a devoted member, at 10:00 Tuesday morning, Rev. L. D. Hopkins, of Big Suamico, her former pastor, officiating, and her remains laid in their final resting place in Evergreen Cemetery. Among the out of town friends who were present at the funeral were her brother Charles Lacey, and daughter, Miss Edna of Green Bay, her nephew, G. W. Thompson, of LaGrange, Ill., and Alex Urquhart of Marinette.
