Harold L."Dub" "Hotchie" Campbell, 73, of Oconto Falls, died Saturday, September 23, 2000 while fishing at Butternut Lake in the Town of Hiles.

He was born to the late Harry and Effie (Mays) Campbell December 24, 1926 in Middle Inlet, WI. Harold married the former Nancy LeFevre July 14, 1951 at Grace Lutheran Church of Oconto Falls. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was Assistant Scoutmaster of the Oconto Falls Boy Scouts Troop number 1024 for many years. Harold was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Oconto Falls.

Surviving family members include his wife, Nancy; his children, John (Janet), Shawano; Judith (David) Brevinski, Oconto Falls; Debra (Dave) Wilmot, Smiths, AL; Dean (Joan), Beaver, Dennis (Linda), Green Bay; Donald, Green Bay; Dan, Oconto Falls; five granddaughters, five grandsons, and one great-grandson; one brother, Robert, Green Bay; one sister, Ethel Porfilio, Crivitz; three sisters-in-law, Nancy Campbell, Green Bay; Sharon (Tom) Benedum, Green Bay; Jean Noel, Sussex; and one uncle, William (Perneil) Mays, Crivitz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by four brothers, Harry Jr., Richard, William, and George, and one grandson, Wayne Anthony.

Friends may call at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Lena, Tuesday September 26, 2000 from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Shaun McFarland officiating.
