Oconto Falls-Mrs. Hayes Caldwell, 68, who had been confined to her home with illness for the last five years, died early this morning at her home. She was the former Helen Kaufman and was born January 6, 1883 in Oconto. The Caldwells were married in September 1902.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday in St. Anthony church here. The Rev. Joseph Labno will offer the requiem mass and burial will be in the Catholic cemetery. The body is at the O'Neill Funeral home.

Mrs. Caldwell is survived by her husband; two sons, Curtis Caldwell, Lebanon, Ohio and David, Baltimore, Md.; four daughters, Mrs. Jean Berg, Chicago, Mrs. Thelma Plutschalk, Abbotsford, Mrs. Marjorie Stewart, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Ruby Reed, Summerville, S.C.; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary LeFevre, Lena and Miss Tillie Kaufman, Oconto.
