Harry was born August 25, 1907in Lakewood, WI to the late Henry and Mathilda (Yar) Predith. He married Ruth Duame on February 26, 1938. Harry worked as a Motorcycle Police Officer for Oconto County. He then worked for Mobile Oil Corp. for 34 years until his retirement in January of 1970. He was a member of the BPOE Elks Oconto Lodge #887. During WWII Harry was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was an avid hunter and fisher and outdoors man. Harry held a private pilot license for 23 years.
Harry is survived by his wife Ruth, Oconto; three sons, Michael (Ruth) Predith, Pewaukee; James (Patricia) Predith, Collinsville, IL; Brent Predith, Denver, CO; five grandchildren, one niece an one nephew. Harry was preceded in death by one sister, Eva Coleman, and one brother, Irving Young.
The family received relatives and fhends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday January 14, 2000 with Elk's services at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services were conducted Friday 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. David C. Ruby officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial has beqn established,
