The former Hedwig Machowiak. She was born in Poland Oct. 1, 1873. She married Steve Grzeskowiak in 1890. In 1897 accompanied by three children, they came to the United States and settled on a farm near Pulaski.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Mary [Walter] Kowackowsli, Pulaski; Mrs. Helen [Edmund] Brzsczynski, Pulaski; Mrs.Frances [Clarence] Stryzewski, Manitowoc; eight sons, Peter at home; Anton of Pulaski; Stanley, Lawrence, Joseph, William and Michael all of Milwaukee, and Frank, of Manitowoc; 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Kathrine Janiecki, West Allis, Wis. Her husband preceded her in death five years ago.
A son and daughter also preceded her in death.
The body is at Marnocha Funeral Home,
where the rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight and Friday, The Rev.
Timothy Pawlak will conduct rites in St. Mary's church at 10 o'clock Saturday
morning and burial will be in the church cemetery.
