Herbert G Loberger Obituary

Friends may call at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto, WI from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 for Herbert G. Loberger, 76, of Oconto, WI.
Deacon Walt Kaszynski will officiate and burial will follow with military rites provided by the Jones-Modrow Young Post #74, Oconto, at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Oconto Falls. He died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008 at the V.A. Hospital in Iron Mountain, Mi. due to complications from heart surgery.

The son of the late Edward and Rose (Schuessler) Loberger was born Nov. 12, 1931, in Oconto Falls, WI.

After graduating from high school he enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. He drove truck most of his life and also worked at Thompson Boat in Peshtigo as a master mechanic. He was a life member of the VFW Post #3071 in Oconto.

Surviving are four children: Richard Loberger of Alabama, Mrs. John (Betty) Clark of Ohio, Lorie DeBakker of Wausaukee, WI and Mrs. Greg (Debra) Webster of Oconto, WI.
11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren;
and a sister, Elaine Miller (Mrs. Alex Miller) of Green Bay, WI.

He was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Jacob; two infant twin brothers and a brother, Gerald.
