HENRY FREWERD, 79, PASSES AWAY AFTER TWO WEEKS ILLNESS

Henry Frewerd, 79, a resident of Oconto for 60 years, died Wednesday morning at 8:30 at the Icibti gisoutak(sic) from a complication of diseases incident to old age. He had been seriously ill for the past two weeks. Funeral services were held this afternoon at two o'clock from the Mac Queen Funeral chapel with six members of the oddfellow Lodge acting as pallbearers. Rev. Starr H. Lloyd officiated. An Oddfellows service was held at the grave. Interment was in the Evergreen cemetery.

The deceased was born December 18, 1858 (sic) in Green Bay. At the age of nineteen he came to Oconto and in 1882 he married to Mary Lucy Burns, who preceded him in death seven years ago. He had been a commercial fisherman in Oconto for many years. Survivors are: two daughters, Mrs. Lillian La Mountain and Mrs. Anna Rogers, both of Oconto; one sister, Mrs. Wilbur Lee, city; three brothers, George Sr., city; Peter, Green Bay and Charles of Milwaukee; two grandchildren, Mrs. Allen Medd and Louis La Mountain and one great-grandchild.
