Funeral services for Herman Benning, 70 (or 79?) of the village of Green Valley were held Friday afternoon at the home and at the Methodist church, town of Morgan with the Rev. King of Gillett officiating. Interment was in the Morgan cemetery.

Pallbearers were the four sons, Jules and Charles, Green Bar; Herman, Fond du Lac, and Oscar, Morgan; a son-in-law; Albert Wahl, and Frank Havelek, a nephew, both of Morgan.

Among those from out of town who attended the funeral besides his sons and daughters were Mrs. Frank Benning and daughters, Mrs. Clarence Williquette, Mr. and Mrs. Sunnett and Mr. and Mrs. A. Williquette, all of Green Bay, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gilerece, Appleton.
