Germaine E. Wenzel Pasek, age 68, Oconto, died Sunday, January 10, 1999 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls.
Germaine was born on July 16, 1935 in Lena. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Fronie (Lau) Wenzel. Germaine was a very strong willed person, and many would attribute this to her long battle with arthritis. Survivors include her loving daughter, Dawn "Babe" Pasek and Russ Meuret of Oconto; two brothers and sister-in-law, Hank and Frieda Wenzel, Jr. of Oconto and Pat Wenzel of Oconto; two sisters and brother-in-law, Arlie Wenzel of Oconto, and Nancy and LaJune Schilling of Chilton; one sister-in- law, Sylvia Wenzel of Lena; three grandchildren, Erik Pasek, Ryan 'Punkie" Weizelt and Daniel, all of Oconto; very special friends, Cecilia Fendryk of Abrams, Julia and John of Suamico and Bert Heller of Pulaski and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Germaine was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and James Wenzel.
There will be no visitation. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. The Jones Funeral Service, 0conto Falls, assisted the family with arrangements.
NOTE: In the obituary published last week for Germaine Pasek of Oconto, the name of her son, Robert Pasek Jr., was inadvertently omitted.
