SON OF PIONEER FAMILY
LAID TO REST SUNDAY
The Rev. John P. Simon of the Methodist church officiated at the rites
for Guy Temple, 60, which were held at the O'Neill Funeral Home on
Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Mrs. Blaine Peterson presided at the
organ.
The remains were carried to the resting place in the family lot in
Woodlawn Cemetery by six nephews, Clifford and Ray Gallagher, Emanuel
Umentum, James Waschbisch, William Campbell and Ray Temple of Pulcifer.
Mr. Temple died Wednesday evening at the Shawano County home after a
very brief illness. He is survived by four brothers, one sister, who
are: John, Herbert, Elmer and William R. and Nellie, Mrs. Anton
Umentum all of Oconto Falls. He also leaves a number of nieces and
nephews.
Mr. Temple was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Temple, pioneer
residents of this community. He was born in August, 1890, and had lived
nearly all of his life on the old Temple Home-stead.
