Mr. Seyfert was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Charles O'Neill, who was buried Saturday morning, so this has been a particularly heavy blow to his wife. Mrs. O'Neill and Mrs. Seyfert are the former Rose and Catherine Murphy of Oconto.
The remains were in state at the O'Neill Funeral Home and the parish rosary was recited there at eight o'clock on Monday night. The Rev. Edward Haesly intoned the requiem mass at St. Anthony's Catholic church on Tuesday morning at nine o'clock, and interment took place in the Catholic cemetery.
Carrying the casket to its resting place were Messrs. John Lotter, Curtis Tracey, Herb Hickey, Frank Ehlinger, Louis Rusch and Louis Brunner. Survivors are his wife, one son Arnold of Appleton, two grandchildren, David with the Air Force stationed in Alaska, and Mary at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Fred Oelhafen of Hartford, Mrs. Caroline Hoppe of Milwaukee and a brother Gust of Watertown.
