Gustave P. Gloede, 61, Lakewood formerly Hickory Hills, IL died unexpectedly Saturday October 23, 1999 in Green Bay. He was bom December 12, 1937 in Chicago to the late Gustav and Catherine (Kittredge) Gloede. Gus married Mary Cammiso February 2, 1960 and was employed as a carpenter in the Chicago Area for many years retiring in 1997 and becoming a resident of Lakewood in the summer and Phoenix in the winter. He enjoyed his pontoon boat. Gus served his country in the Air Force.

He was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Lakewood. Survivors include his wife. Mary of Lakewood; two daughters and their families, Julie Anne (Clifford) Hartman of Midlothian, IL, Patti (Gregory) Weyers of Lakewood; his son and family, Gustave (Andeen) Gloede of Orland Hills, IL; five sisters and their families, Sharon (Walter) Bieniek of Phoenix, AZ; Rosemarie Whittiemore of Bradley, IL; Delores Wozniak of Chicago Ridge; Pat (Jim) Browne of Burbank, IL: Mary (George) Jester of Chicago Ridge, IL; two brothers, Louis (Catherine) Cammiso, Joseph (Kathleen) Cammiso all of Phoenix, AZ. Gus was "Poppa' to six grandchildren. Further survived by many nieces and nephews, and best friend Tony Kersher of Lakewood.

Visitation was held Tuesday at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Lakewood where a prayer vigil was held conducted by Sister Karen Vollmer. Funeral Mass was conducted at the church Wednesday October 27, 1999 at 11 a.m. with Father Gerald Schmidt officiating. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Lakewood. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring in charge of arrangements.
