Mr. and Mrs. J. A. McLean Tuesday received the sad news of
the death of their daughter, Gertrude, which occurred at Port- land, Oregon,
Monday last from hemorrhage of the lungs.
It was planned to bring the remains to Monroe for burial. Two of her
brothers went to Portland for the purpose but charged their plans, as friends
there had made arrangements for burial in Portland. The funeral was held
there Wednesday
