Genevieve Materniak La Brosse
Mrs. William La Brosse II, 59, Rt. 2, Oconto Falls, died
Monday, November 5, 1973, in an out-of-town hospital following a long illness.
The former Genevieve Materniak was born October 6, 1914 in Chicago, Illinois,
and resided in the Town of Morgan for the past 50 years. She married Mr.
La Brosse on June 25, 1938 in Krakow. Mrs. La Brosse was a member of the
Alter-Rosary Society of St. Casimir Church, Krakow. She was preceded in
death by one son, Stanley; her parents, one brother and one sister.
Survivors are her husband; three sons, William III, Green Bay; Ralph
and Thomas, both at home; six daughters, Mrs. John (Genevieve) O'Neill,
Bloomington, Ill.; Mrs Thomas (Mary) Shepro, Lena; Mrs. Ronald (Marcella)
Lupien, Menasha; Mrs. John (Patricia) Hylok, Sobieski; Mrs. David (Delores)
Blom, Elm Grove; Mrs. Peter (LaVerne) McHugh, Rockford, Ill.; 12 grandchildren;
two sisters Mrs. Arthur (Marie) Bohenburger, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Helen
Landen, Melrose Park, Ill.
Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, after 2 p.m.
today. Rosary at 8 this evening. Funeral 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Casimir
Church, Krakow, with the Rev. Mark Szych officiating. Burial in church
cemetery.
