Genevieve Kubiak, 89, Allouez resident, died Tuesday morning December 14, 1999 at a local hospital as a result of heart failure. She was born August 17, 1910 in Lena to the late Mike and Louise (Paya) McGuire. Gen married Al Kubiak in 1930 and he preceded her in death in 1969. She was employed as an office manager for Standard Oil Company for many years, retiring in 1972. Gen was a member of the Catholic Women's Club, Cabrini Book Club and Christian Mother's society in Pulaski and served as president. She was a very devoted member of Resurrection Parish and enjoyed singing in their church choir as well as the choir at St. Matthew's Parish. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Gerald and Betty Kubiak, Green bay, John and Mary Kubiak, Bolder City, Nev., Jim and Sarah Kubiak, Green Bay; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Kubiak and 13 brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 4-7 p.m. TODAY (Wednesday) and after 10 a.m. Thursday at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Dr. until time of mass. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Thursday at Resurrection Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Demuth officiating. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund has been established in her name.
