Gerald L. Whiting 66' of Stiles, died Sunday, September 26, 1999 at Community Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls. He was born to the late LLoyd and Gertrude (Spice) Whiting, Feb. 7, 1933 in Lena. Gerald married the former Betty Krueger on October 25, 1952. He ia a past member of the Lena School Board. Gerald retired from Frigo's in 1997. He was supervisor of the Stiles Town Board and a member of the Oconto Falls Ambulance Committee. He enjoyed his grandchildren and also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are his wife Betty, daughter, Cindy (David) Herman, Lena; son, Perry (Kathy) Whiting, Lena; and three grandchildren, Billy, Brandon, and Emily; and a brother Ronald (Luella) Whiting, Lena. Friends may call at Rhodes-Charapatta Funeral Home, Wed. September 29, 1999 from 4-8p.m. and Thursday from 9-11 a.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Ryan Landwehr officiating. Internment at Stiles Cemetery, Town of Stiles.
