Gordon K. Kitzman, Sr., 69, Lena formerly of Milwaukee, died monday morning, September 13, 1999 at a Milwaukee hospital following a nine-month illness with cancer. He was born March 12, 1930, in the town of How, to Emil and Dorothy (Bovea) Kitzman. He was raised in Oconto Falls. On March 27, 1948, he married Betty Tassoul at Grace Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. The couple has lived in Milwaukee for most of their married life where Gordon was employed at Ladish Drop Forge for 35 tears. Following his retirement, the couple moved to the Spruce area. Gordon was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing. Survivors are his wife, Betty Kitzman, Spruce: his children, Harvey Kitzman, Jimmy Kitzman, Diane Hubbard, Christine Kitzman, Cheryl Lenski, Gordon Kitzman Jr.; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Roger Kitzman; five sisters, Irene Peterson, Valda Payette, Betty Lambert, Beverly Amdsen, Dorothy Damp. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert and Harold Kitzman; three sisters Charlotte Williquette, Margret Gillis and Lorraine Damp. Friends called at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls from 4 until 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Shaun McFarland officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
