He was born June 4, 1911 at Oconto Falls to the late George and Kathryn Grant. He married Elizabeth Brunner May 29, 1944 at Mercer, WI. Survivors include his wife Elizabeth; three daughters, Mary Lentz, Marinette; Ruth "Cookie" (Eugene) Polinske, Milwaukee; Louise (Tony) DePouw, Oconto; two sons, George (Lois) Grant, S. Carolina; Tom Grant, Suring; a brother, James Grant, Arkansas; three sisters, Alice Glover, Ludington, MI; Kay Bridwell, California; Dorothy Haen, Appleton; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
Friends called at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Funeral service was 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating. Burial was at Morgan cemetery.
