Mrs. L. R. Allen, the former Miss Ina Volk, received word on Monday that her sister, Bertha Volk Gowey, had lost her husband on that date, Gilbert Gowey had reached the age of 90 years. Funeral rites were held at their home, San Pedro, California, on Wednesday, September 10th. Oconto Falls friends of Mrs. Gowey are extending sincere sympathy to her in her sorrow.
