Oconto Falls-Mrs. Gertrude Murphy, 83, Oconto Falls, Rt. 2, died Sunday morning at her son's home in the town of Morgan. Born November 24, 1882 in Chilton, she resided in Oconto County most of her life. The former Gertrude Graney married William Murphy on June 18, 1912 in Chilton. Her husband died November 2, 1953. She was a member of the Alter Rosary Society of St. Anthony Church.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Marcella) Lutz, Oconto Falls; Mrs. George (Mildred) Beno, Green Bay; Two sons, Howard, Oconto Falls, Rt 2; and Eugene, Green Bay; One brother, Jerome Graney, Wisconsin Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Johnson, Green Bay; Mrs. Kit McHugh, Kaukauna; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren

At Soulek Funeral Home Oconto Falls after 2 pm Tuesday. Funeral at 10 am Wednesday, St. Anthony Church, Oconto Falls, the Rev. Joseph Tomczyk officiating. Burial in Church Cemetery.
