George F. Lentz Obituary

George F. Lentz, 64, Green Bay, died Sunday, September 30, 2012 unexpectedly. He was born September 18, 1948 to the late Harry and Patricia (Donlevy) Lentz in Lena, Wisconsin. On August 3, 1984, he married Julie Oettinger. He was a successful, self-employed business owner for the past 40 years. For the last 13 years, George thoroughly enjoyed racing with his son, Kyle, and gained many friends in the racing community.
Survivors include his wife, Julie; his son, Kyle; four brothers, Bob, Rick, Ken and Harry Jr.; two sisters, Marilyn and Helen (Tom); seven brothers-in-law, Rick (Mary) Oettinger, Randy Oettinger, Jeff Oettinger, Chuck Oettinger, Tim (Teresa) Oettinger, John (Crystal) Oettinger and Tony (Sara) Oettinger; three godchildren, Stacey, Allison and Kristie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends from the racing community.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Curt Oettinger, mother-in-law, Bev Jacques, two sisters-in-law, Laurie Oettinger and Bonnie Oettinger and his niece, Amy Giese Anderson.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, October 3, at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 South Oneida Street, from 3 PM to 6:30 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial being held at 6:30 PM with Rev. John Harper officiating.
