Giles F. "Jack" Laviolette Mr. Giles F. "Jack" Laviolette, 89, Oconto, died Wednesday afternoon, November 7, 2001, at Rennes Health Center, West, Peshtigo.

Mr. Laviolette was born January 5, 1912 in Oconto to Felix and Mary (Lessor) Laviolette. He resided in Oconto all of his life and was employed at Oconto Company, Knitting Mill, Shoe Factory, Hardwood Mill, Cruisers, and Richter Lumber. Jack married the former Lucille Krueger on May 3, 1954 at Oconto.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Oconto. Jack enjoyed to hunt, fish, and play cards.

Surviving is his loving wife of over 47 years, Lucille; a step-son, Kenneth (Joyce) Morrison, Muskegon, MI; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death beside his parents were five brothers, Leo, Milton, Lawrence, Clarence, and Franklin, and four sisters, Violet, Marie, Ida, and Olive.

Friends called at First Presbyterian Church, 133 Jackson Street, Oconto, from 9 until 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 10. Service of Christian Burial was conducted 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Church. The Rev. Thomas D. Beck officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Oconto.
