George E. LeBreck Obituary

 

George Edward LeBreck, 93, of Oconto, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at Sharpe Care LTD, Oconto Falls. George was born June 5, 1919 in Oconto to the late George and Helen (Suprise) LeBreck Sr. He married Dorothy Jaeckels in Oconto. She preceded him in death on October 13, 2012. George served in the US Army during WWII in the Armored Division. George served the Oconto Police Department, serving as Police Chief for fifteen years and retiring in 1977. He was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, Oconto. George is survived by two daughters, Barbara (James) Schmidt, Green Bay; Mary Lou (Michael) Watzka, Green Bay; a brother, Donald LeBreck, Green Bay; three sisters-in-law, Shirley LeBreck, Green Bay; Peggy LeBreck, Oconto; Helen LeBreck, Oconto; five grandchildren Sue Schmidt, Stephanie (Mike) Dawson, Carmen (Steve) Wiest, Sara (John) Swenson, Michelle (Chad) Williams, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Morris, Murline, Frances, William and James LeBreck, and five sisters, Helen Claire Pillsbury, Marge Kornowski, Marion Ross, Mary Ausloos and Mary Etta Chmilewski. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 1 to 2:30 PM Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with Deacon Walter Kaszynski officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome
