Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Gust Emmanuel Johnson, 82, of Breed, from the Lutheran church at Mosling. Burial was in the Mosling cemetery. Rev. Frank Peterson officiating.

Mr. Johnson passed away at the Oconto Falls hospital about 6 o'clock Wednesday evening. Death was attributed to advanced age.

He was born June 13, 1870 in Sweden. When a young man of 18 he came to live in the vicinity where he worked as a laborer.

Survivors are his three children, a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Esther) Pecore; and two sons, James and Joe, all of Breed, 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Johnson was taken to the Soulek funeral home where he lay in state until Saturday forenoon when taken to the church.
