Mr. Johnson passed away at the Oconto Falls hospital about 6 o'clock Wednesday evening. Death was attributed to advanced age.
He was born June 13, 1870 in Sweden. When a young man of 18 he came to live in the vicinity where he worked as a laborer.
Survivors are his three children, a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Esther) Pecore; and two sons, James and Joe, all of Breed, 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Johnson was taken to the Soulek funeral home where he lay in state until Saturday forenoon when taken to the church.
