Mrs. Henry Hanson, 76, R2
Suring, died in the Oconto Falls hospital Thursday at 3:30 jpm. She
had been ill for four years and hospitalized for the past two weeks.
The former Gena Erickson was born in the town of Maple Valley, February 6, 1885, and spent all her life there. She was married to Mr. Hanson, December 24, 1903.
The body was taken to the Soulek Funeral home at Suring where funeral services were held Saturday afternoon with the Reverend Leslie Simon officiating. Burial was in the Frostville cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rudolph Fischer, Adolph Fischer, Joe Trever, Alfred Arveson, Andrew Peterson and James Peterson.
Survivors are three daughters,
Mrs. Roy (Estelle) Valentine and Mrs. Curt (Helen) Genke and Mrs. Harry
(Leona) Otto of Suring; five sons, Sidney, Jesse and Orvel of Suring and
Vernon and Chester of Green Bay; one brother, John Erickson of Suring;
26 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
