Frances Zeifert Horch, age 74, 6523 N. 80th St, Milwaukee, WI passed away January 9, 1999 at Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee after an illness of two weeks.
She was born October 12, 1924 at Oconto to the late Joseph and Mathilda (Ziarka) Zeifert. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service office in Milwaukee until her retirement. Frances married Louis Horch in 1949, he preceded her in death on May 13, 1995.
Survivors include one son, Ray "Chuckie" (Karen) Horch of New Berlin; one sister, Hattie Zeifert of Oconto; two sisters-in-law, Nita Zeifert of Stephenson, MI and Arlene Zeifert of Coleman; two grandchildren, Eric and Laura; 14 nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Frances was preceded in death by four brothers, Henry, Charles, Ray and Nick, and one sister, Mary.
Visitation was held at the Gallagher Funeral, Oconto, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. Prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will he held at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday (today), January 13, at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Joseph Site, with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating. Burial will be at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
