Trudell came to Oconto Falls 30 years ago and started a grain elevator here which he operated until 1920. At the time of his death he was proprietor of the Falls Pickle company and the Falls Storage company.
The deceased served two terms on the village council in 1917 and 1919 and then was an alderman on the city council from 1928 to 1934. In 1933 he was appointed a member of the newly organized water and light commission and had served as president of that body until this year when he resigned because of poor health.
Survivors are his wife and three children, Herbert, Green Bay; Mrs. J. F. Novek, Green Bay and Mrs. M. R. Gillette, Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Thibedeau and Mrs. Peter Haen, both of Sturgeon Bay; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock at St. Anthony’s Catholic church Friday morning, the Rev. F. J. Melchoirs officiating. Burial will be in the family lot at Casco.
