Freda married Cyril Voit in 1936 and he preceded her in death in 1953. She then married Raymond E. Schoen in 1970 and he survives her.
Freda worked for Bergstrom Paper Company and then retired from American Can Company. She enjoyed quilting with friends for the Bethesda Home. Freda loved her garden and flowers and also traveling. She was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Menasha where she was active in their couples club, ladies aid and prayer chain.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond, Apple-ton; two daughters: Joan (Phillip) Brown, Larsen; Judith (Harold) Tesch, Fremont: three grandchildren: Dan (Roberta) Endter, Robert (Leanne) Mayer, Kurl Mayer: three great grandchildren: Anne'e Mayer-Chap-leau, Kyle and Derek Endter; three step-sons; five step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Lola Schwab, Menasha; Lylas Galassie, Appleton; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Ruth Bartelme.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Raymond. Maynard and Lester Schwab; a sister, Myrtle (Willard) Mueller; and a son-in-law, Daniel Endter. Funeral services will be held at II a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2002, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Menasha with Reverend Paul Shackel officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. till time of services. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.
