She was born in Mountain on February 16, 1914, to the late Adam and Marian (Goldy) Strohm. Fern married Francis Boser on May 20, 1950 at Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a long time member. Fern was a graduate of Business College in Appleton and then was employed by Thorp Finance until her retirement. She enjoyed herself by spending time at the Salvation Army.
Fern is survived by her husband, Francis; stepson, Carl (Nancy) Boser, Green Bay; stepdaughter, Donna Ward and her special friend, Bob Hermes, Keshena; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Goldy and Robert Aldrich and Ramona and Alfred Berg.
Friends called Sunday at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave. at Ridge Rd., Green Bay. A prayer service was held at the Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted Monday 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Nathan Tuff officiating. Burial in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
