Florence was born April 3, 1911 in Chippewa Falls, WI to the late Joseph and Mary (Bowe) Price. She married Harold P Harstad August 24, 1935. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1980. Florence managed the Bachall Store in Oconto for ten years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, Past President of the Catholic Women's Club, and a member of the Bridge Club.
Florence is survived by three daughters, Mary (Herbert) Osmussen, Sarasota, FL; Judy (Peter) Derocher, Neenah; Susan (James) Bero, Appleton; one son, Tom (Vicki) Harstad, Lawrenceville, IL; two brothers, Joseph (Iola) Price, Chippewa Falls; Donald (Elaine) Price, Chippewa Falls; one sister, Rosemary Hasmer, Chippewa Falls; one sister-in-law, Betty Price, Chippewa Falls; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Harstad (1970), two brothers, Kenny and Eugene, and two sisters, Cathryn and Annette "Billie".
The family will receive relatives and friends at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Joseph Site from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2000. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. David C. Ruby officiating.
