Rites Monday for Frank McAllister

Frank McAllister, 77, town of Stiles farmer died at the Oconto hospital Thursday evening at 9:50. He had been hospitalized for three weeks.

Mr. McAllister was born January 12, 1879 at Leightown, town of Oconto and was a life time resident of the county. He was married to Elizabeth Jarvey September 28, 1901. They observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1951. He was a member of St. Patrick's church at Stiles and its Holy Name society.

The body was taken to the MacQueen chapel where the rosary was recited Sunday evening. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9:30 at St. Patrick's church with the Reverend John Monarsky officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were six grandsons, Francis and Bernard Jacquart, Thomas Dykla, Peter and Joseph Reindl and Robert LaMountain.

Survivors besides his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Marie) Jacquart and Mrs. John (Rella) Dykla of Two Rivers and Mrs. Bernice Reindl of Oconto Falls; one son Francis of Milwaukee; two brothers, Angus of LaGrande, Oregon and Edward of Indianapolis, Ind. and three sisters, Mrs. John (Ida) Phillips and Mrs. Margaret Devereaux of Milwaukee and Mrs. Grover (Beth) Pamperin of Green Bay. There are 14 grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
