The former Florence Laduron was born June 23, 1893 in Stiles to the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex Lauduron. She remained a county resident her entire life. She married John Murphy of Oconto Falls in April 1926 at Iron Mountain, Mich. Mrs. Murphy was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Oconto Falls.
Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Helen) Bourassa of R1 Oconto and Mrs. Lee (Dorothy) Rymer of Omro; one son, William (Bud) Ragen of Waukesha; one brother, Alex Laduron of Oconto; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Dufek of Lena and Mrs. Marie Schoen of West DePere, 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
A wake service was held Wednesday evening at the John Crooks funeral home. Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 2:00 p.m. from the funeral home, the Rev. Patrick Bernardy officiating. Interment will in the Catholic Cemetery in Oconto Falls.
