Florence Kamke, 87, Oconto Falls, died Thursday morning, September 7, 2000 at Sharpe Care, Ltd.

She was born April 29, 1913 in Oconto Falls to William and Catherine (Stuffel) Lotter. On October 3, 1939 she married Fred Kamke in Oconto Falls. The couple owned and operated a family farm in rural Oconto Falls for many years. Florence moved into the city around 1991 where she was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Florence enjoyed gardening and working in the outdoors.

Survivors are one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Kathy Kamke, Oconto Falls; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Dane) Kamke-Black, Shawano; Michael (Kim) Kamke, Oconto Falls; one great grandchild, Alexander Michael Kamke; one brother, Leo (Mayfred) Lotter, Oconto Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred on August 6, 1972, six brothers, Joe, George, Al, Lawrence, John and Paul Lotter; two sisters, Sister Annellus Lotter and an infant sister, Margaret.

Friends called at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls. Mass of Christian Burial was 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Oconto Falls, with the Rev. Fr. Harold Beernsten and Patricia DeGroot, parish director officiating. Burial in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Spruce.
