Former Oconto Legislator Dies
Frank J. Lingelbach was born in Sheboygan, July 7, 1888
and came to Oconto in February 1900. He held a position with the Internal
Revenue Department for some years, and also was a former deputy sheriff
and undersheriff of Oconto county. He was a member of the Elks, Knights
of Columbus and Holy Name societies.
The body is at the Gallagher funeral home where the Elks will Conduct
rites at 7 O'clock Monday night and the Rev. M. G. Alt will recite the
rosary at 8 o'clock. Funeral rites will be held Tuesday in St. Joseph Catholic
church at an hour not yet decided.
Survivors are Mr. Lingelbach's wife, Mildred; a daughter, Betty,
at home; two son, George of Belleville, Ill., and Frank Jr., a technical
sergeant in the army; three brothers Hugo of Oconto, Charles J. of Appleton,
and Sigmund of Pensacola, Fla. There also are two grandsons.
